Strive For More Music Showcase Auditioning Singers

(PRLEAP.COM) The Strive For More Music Showcase, San Francisco Bay Area’s premier talent showcase which features a live houseband, is now auditioning R&B singers for an upcoming show in July. The purpose of the Strive For More Music Showcase is to provide a platform for both experienced and inexperienced vocalists to present their talent to fans, industry professionals, and the media.

The third installment of the show, set for July 20th, 2007, at Maxwells Lounge in downtown Oakland, will feature young artists from various Bay Area high schools as well as up-and-coming vocalists who specialize in R&B music.

“The Strive For More Music Showcase is growing,” says Gian Fiero, the show’s Director Of A&R who has successfully guided the careers of Bay Area artists Danesha Simon (Grand Jury Entertainment/MCA); Sons Of Funk (Bust It! Records); and music producer Cori Jacobs (Beyonce/Pussycat Dolls/Lauryn Hill/The Temptations/George Clinton). “I’ve watched many talent shows and talent showcases come and go without contributing to the unity and economic vibrancy of the communities in which they are housed. The Strive For More Music Showcase caters to the needs of the community, the tastes of the industry, and the dreams of its participants.”
