Worldview Ltd, the UK-based company specialising in short-stay accommodation, has launched citybaseapartments.com, a new website offering serviced apartments throughout the UK.

Aimed primarily at the corporate market, the site is a logical next step for the company that runs the well-established London serviced apartment site central-london-apartments.com.

Davor Parker, Worldview’s Sales and Marketing Director, explains: "We’re launching Citybase Apartments in response to customer demand. Serviced apartments are gaining in popularity, with more and more companies recognising the advantages they have over hotels.

"Many of our larger clients have global offices and multiple sites, and would prefer to use a single provider to fulfil all their accommodation needs. We wanted to make it easier for our clients by providing a ‘one-stop shop’, offering them a full service. The UK-wide apartments featured on citybaseapartments.com are the first step towards this.”

Citybase Apartments offers a wider range of UK serviced apartments than any of its competitors, currently covering 19 cities including Cardiff, Edinburgh, Birmingham and other key corporate destinations. Further expansion is planned, both within the UK and abroad. European apartments will be added later this year, and Citybase Apartments will go worldwide early in 2008.

Extensive research has gone into the development of the new website, which incorporates user-friendly features such as ‘compare now’, enabling bookers to see at a glance which apartments best meet their needs. Like its sister site, citybaseapartments.com is backed by a UK-based team of telephone reservations agents, who are available to deal with queries and discuss individual requirements.

Worldview Ltd also operates the successful London hotel booking website, londonnights.com.
