ImprovJacksonville Makes “Wining” Funny

The ImprovJacksonville Comedy Theatre will host a wine tasting Friday, June 10 from 6-8 p.m. After the wine tasting, attendees enjoy free admission as ImprovJacksonville takes the stage at 8 P.M. for the PrimeTime Comedy Show.

The first Wine and Comedy night on April 15 with Southside Cellars drew almost 60 people. The second event, hosted on Friday, May 6, featured Donovan Graves, Fine Wines Representative from National Distributing, and Southside Cellars Fine Wines.

Attendees will taste a selection of wines, accompanied by bread, cheese and bruschetta, for only $10. Philip from Sage’s Café will have other dishes available to pair with wines.

ImprovJacksonville, established in 2000, is Jacksonville’s only professional improvisational comedy troupe. In addition to live improv comedy performances, the group conducts at-risk youth workshops, after school programs and corporate workshops on communication, creativity and teambuilding.
