DENVER - Women golfers seeking a new or expanded summer playing wardrobe can now mix and match a newly-available collection of colorful sleeveless mock turtlenecks, sleeved shirts and skorts designed specifically for young and athletically-built players. Golf clothing designer Tracey Lynn Blake has created mock turtlenecks in a stunning deep red, white, a black mesh and a black-grey print for $42. Her sleeved shirts are white mesh with a red accents and retail on her Web site, www.traceylynngolf.com, for $94. Matching skorts, available in red and white, are available for $98 and have a comfortable mesh short underneath.

“Numerous combinations can be made with only a few pieces of my line,” Blake said. “The entire line is made of dry-flex athletic fabric that is UV protected and self-wicking.”

Blake’s 2007 clothing collection has been purchased by women from Hawaii to New England. Her spring line included a well-received leopard print shirt, skort and matching jacket and pants. She had to order additional portions of her leopard collection within 30 days of release.

“My research indicated women could not find fashionable, fitted clothing made of stretch fiber, particularly in smaller sizes,” Blake said. “We’re manufactured plenty of size 2 skorts and extra-small shirts— and we’re shipping them to customers almost every day.”
