Cheung Kong GSB Dean Xiang Calls for Third Generation of Chinese Entrepreneurs

Beijing, May 15, 2007 - Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business Dean Xiang Bing and Cheung Kong Professor of Economics Zhou Qiren will discuss globalization followed by a panel discussion that will include top industry leaders on May 16 at the Garden Hotel in Shanghai.

One of a series of roundtable events for Cheung Kong GSB alumni and friends, the May 16 event will feature Dean Xiang, who will track the emergence of two generations of Chinese entrepreneurs since the country opened its market in the 1980s, and conclude with an outlook on China's third generation, who must find ways to leverage resources globally as the world becomes flatter.

Focusing on the topic "Three Generations of Chinese Entrepreneurs and the Future of Chinese Business", the panel dialogue will include Chen Xiaxin, President of Xizi United Holding Corporation, Tan Zhi, President of Focus Media, and Liu Yi, Chairman of Xinjiang Chalkistomato Co., Ltd.
