Macmillan Cancer Support benefits from Training Synergy

May 18, 2007 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
The Macmillan Cancer Support charity has recently received a cash boost of some £1,500 thanks to the efforts of staff at the training solutions provider, Training Synergy.

Two of Training Synergy’s staff raised over £1,000 in sponsorship by running in – and completing – this year’s London Marathon.

And, following hard on the heels of their Marathon effort, Training Synergy staff raised a further £400 or so for Macmillan Cancer Support from a Quiz Night.

Training Synergy, which was placed 15th in last year’s list of the ‘Top 50 IT training companies’, compiled by market analysts IT Skills Research, raised over £12,500 for Macmillan Cancer Support - its ‘charity of the year’ in 2006 - is planning a Golf Day to generate further funds for the charity later in the summer.
