Local Resident Opens New Full Service Law Office in Livonia, Michigan

(PRLEAP.COM) Local Livonia, Michigan resident Timothy J. Klisz has opened up the Klisz Law Office, PLLC in his hometown of Livonia. A graduate of Livonia’s Churchill High School, Tim went on to attend the University of Michigan-Dearborn, studying Philosophy and Political Science, graduating with high distinction in 1993.

After college, Mr. Klisz began his legal education at the University of Detroit-Mercy School of Law, graduating cum laude in 1996. Passing the Michigan Bar Exam in the top 20% of all takers, Tim started working at the Livonia law firm of Helmkamp, Ellis, Abraham and Demopoulos, handling many areas of law including Probate, Criminal, Real Estate, Personal Injury and Estate Planning.

In 2000, former members of the Helmkamp firm started Klisz, Spindler & Stern, P.C., practicing in Canton, Michigan. Tim still concentrated in the same areas of law, adding Employment Discrimination / Harassment, Condominium Association Law and Collections to his repertoire of skills.

Then in Spring, 2007, Tim left to start a new enterprise, the Klisz Law Office, PLLC. With the main location in Livonia, Mr. Klisz is also able to meet clients at offices in Novi, Troy, Bloomfield Hills and Downtown Detroit. With a focus on representing clients in need, Mr. Klisz likes to be considered a first line attorney for his clients. "If a client calls me first, I can usually handle their legal needs. But if it is area outside of my expertise, I have a wonderful bank of referral attorneys who specialize in certain areas," Klisz said.
