SpectraSensors, Inc., the leading supplier of a moisture analyzer and CO2 and H2S sensors for Natural Gas Pipeline applications announced today, May 15, 2007 that it has acquired Integrated Information Technologies (IIT), a leader in Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and other Software Products for Natural Gas Pipeline Industry. “This acquisition of IIT will greatly enhance SpectraSensors ability to provide complete solutions for gas quality measurement while adding capability to provide software solutions for data acquisition, monitoring and control in critical process monitoring applications,” states George Balogh, CEO of SpectraSensors, Inc.

IIT has been providing SCADA turnkey solutions to oil, gas, and utility industries for over 15 years and will continue to support its customers with a larger support network through SpectraSensors Sales, Applications Support and Training Center in Houston, Texas. Richard Cline, former CEO of IIT, will join SpectraSensors Houston based team as Director of Software Applications Support, for both pipeline as well as refinery based applications.

In addition to software products, IIT and SpectraSensors have developed a new Energy Meter for real time monitoring of BTU content of gas for upstream and downstream applications. “The new SSI Energy Meter uses the same proven laser technology in other SpectraSensors products known for reliable and near maintenance-free operation”, stated Dale Langham, V.P. of SSI. “We believe the market has been asking for a lower cost real time energy measurement instrument for sometime. SpectraSensors Energy meter has answered the challenge with speed, reliability, and substantially lower cost of ownership.”

All SpectraSensors gas quality measurement products, including the moisture analyzer will be on display this week at the International School of Hydrocarbon Measurement (ISHM) in Oklahoma City, OK, as well as the Sales, Applications and Training Center in Houston, TX. The moisture analyzer and the gas sensors, which require no physical contact, will be displayed.
