Bo’s No Apprentice: Bice’s Twang & Funk Lands Him In Idol Final 3

Two sides of Bo were on display as Bice gave two over-the-top performances that landed him in American Idol’s Final 3. Bo gave America an excellent slow, country version of Travis Tritt’s “It’s a Great Day To Be Alive”, and then brought down the house with a funked-up version of the O’Jays song “For The Love Of Money” also know as the theme to TV’s “The Apprentice”. The American Idol highlight so far, Bo’s soulful rendition brought about the strongest audience reaction in the series to date.

In other news on the Bice blog (http://bo-bice-american-idol.blogspot.com) this week, Bo’s fans continue to post moving and heartfelt tributes to America’s newest superstar. Bo fan “W” said,

“It has been so refreshing as a 31-yr.-old mother to see a true talent on American Idol. My 4-yr.old and 1-yr.old boys know Bo as a family name and it's been so enjoyable to see him be so successful. He seems like such a genuine soul and a good hearted person and I will vote as much as possible to make him win. And I'm sure there are a lot of middle-aged rocker Moms out there who feel the same”

And, Bice fan Sara, responding to the Smoking Gun controversy, let everyone know how much of an inspiration Bo’s been to her:

“I just wanted to let everyone know that I am so sick of reading all this media hype about Bo's past drug arrests. I can personally attest to how it feels to have your dirty laundry dragged all over the planet, and I wanted him to know that because of reading of his past, I have been inspired to enter into treatment for my cocaine addiction, 10 days and going strong! GO BO!”
