http://www.outreach.psu.edu/MPSU/, Penn State Conferences new MPSU Web site, which offers podcasts of various Penn State conferences and workshops.
The conference, which takes place each fall, offers science-based approaches to teen pregnancy prevention. “We would like conference proceedings to get in the hands of the people who interact with adolescents every day,” said Angela Rogers, marketing manager for Penn State Outreach’s Conferences unit. Audio and video files available for downloading include conference sessions that cover a range of issues related to teen sexuality—from race to abuse to sexually transmitted diseases to the Internet to self-esteem.
“The keynotes and workshops contained a wealth of state-of-the-art information presented by national and statewide leaders in the field,” said Joe Fay, executive director of the Pennsylvania Coalition to Prevent Teen Pregnancy. “This resource will help professionals keep up with the rapidly changing world of today’s adolescents and how we can make a difference.”
