Horror author Brian Keene is launching his book tour and releasing two novels this summer. “Terminal,” a dark crime thriller, and “City of the Dead,” the long awaited sequel to last year’s Bram Stoker award winner, “The Rising.”

“Terminal” is a darkly suspenseful tale of crime and the common man – with a surprising jolt of the supernatural.
Tommy O’Brien hoped to leave his industrial hometown, but marriage and fatherhood have kept him running in place, working a job that doesn’t even pay the bills. To make matters worse, Tommy has just learned he’s terminally ill with not much time left.
Tommy and his friends launch a bold scheme to provide for his family’s future – a bank robbery. And though his plan will spin shockingly out of control, it will throw him together with a child whose touch can heal – and whose ultimate lesson is that there are far worse things than dying.

“City of the Dead” is the long-awaited sequel to last year’s most talked about horror novel, “The Rising,” and from the first page, it immediately raises the stakes and the horror.
Welcome to New York City – population eight million zombies. Trapped inside a fortified skyscraper, humanity makes its last stand against an unstoppable and undying enemy. The terror mounts with every page as they face overwhelming odds and dwindling numbers.
Welcome to…the City of the Dead.

Brian Keene, a native of York, Pennsylvania, won a 2003 Bram Stoker Award, the highest honor for horror and suspense writers for his novel, “The Rising,” in the category of Best First Novel. Keene also won a Bram Stoker in 2002 for his web based column “Jobs in Hell” in the Nonfiction category. In addition to “The Rising,” “Terminal,” and “City of the Dead,” Keene has released numerous material including the short story collections “Fear of Gravity,” “No Rest for the Wicked,” and “No Rest At All.”
