Beijing, May 24th,2007 - At the May 23 ceremony welcoming the spring intake of EMBA students to the Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business, Dean Xiang Bing's opening speech encouraged his audience to seamlessly integrate their business into the world. The students - 183 business leaders from all over China - were also challenged by Dean Xiang to shift their focus from the domestic to the global marketplace.

Describing Cheung Kong GSB's differentiation strategy, established 5 years ago, and sharing some of the school's plans for the next 5 years ahead, Dean Xiang expressed appreciation for students' decision to enroll in the program. "Your participation in Cheung Kong's team culture, and willingness to freely share your individual experiences will develop both the school and you," he noted.

Dean Xiang's address was followed by a presentation by renowned Professor Mei Jianping. Comparing investment in equities, bonds, and art collection, Professor Mei, a principal developer of the Mei Moses Fine Art Price Indices, predicted a boom in China's art market in the coming 40 years, as strong economic growth will lead to a growing number of wealthy people.

Liu Jiang, publisher of TrendsMag Group and a CK EMBA graduate, represented over 1,000 alumni, greeting the new intake sharing the lessons he learned in and after his 20-months at Cheung Kong GSB. In his words, the experience was, "A return to childhood, with a group of peers sharing and creating joy".
