First Sin City Experience Expo and 2005 SNAPI Gay Pride Festival To Share Las Vegas Sports Complex – Proceeds to Benefit Charity

The first Sin City Experience Expo, produced by the Sin City Chamber of Commerce (SCCC), will coincide with SNAPI’s Gay Pride Festival. The simultaneous events will be held at the Las Vegas Sports Complex on Saturday, May 28th, from noon to nine pm. The SCCC Expo will be separate from the SNAPI Festival, and will occupy the entire upstairs of the complex. SNAPI estimates 8,000 – 10,000 attendees throughout the day. Both events will have vendor booths and two bars are available upstairs at the Expo. Network TV and Las Vegas Entertainment duo Steve August and Maria Gara, AKA “The SnakeBabe” will perform at the Chamber Expo. Various Las Vegas Strip entertainers and others will appear throughout the day at the SNAPI Festival. Proceeds from the Sin City Chamber Experience will be shared with SNAPI to benefit community non-profit organizations. SNAPI is also seeking volunteers for their event and offers free admission for 4 hours of help.

SNAPI is a member of the SCCC. The SCCC is open to all legitimate businesses, non-profits, and individuals that support their beliefs. SCCC, unlike other Chambers, prides itself on allowing all legitimate businesses membership into their organization regardless of product or service. To serve the community, the Sin City Chamber of Commerce has opted to donate a percentage of the net profits generated at various events, to member non-profit organizations that provide much needed services to many residents of Las Vegas.

Additionally, the organization offers services and benefits such as group insurance to its members. This will especially benefit 1099 employees such as dancers, entertainers, performers, and employees working in the adult entertainment industry who are hired as “private contractors” thus ineligible for insurance and other benefits. The SCCC has members from all fields; with about 20% “Adult” and 80% mainstream businesses making up its roster.
