SMASH! Publisher And Grafenveer Illustrator Eager To Meet Fans

(PRLEAP.COM) Bayville, New Jersey May 13th, 2005 – Open Book Press co-owner and editor, Chris Campanozzi, and Christian N. St. Pierre, illustrator of the hit graphic novel series “Grafenveer” are ready to meet and greet fans.

Book fans and would-be pros are excited at the opportunity to meet Campanozzi, co-publisher of Open Book Press, as this summer’s promotional tour season kicks off. Campanozzi will be meeting and greeting readers of Open Book Press Books, as well as fans of the company’s graphic novel imprint SMASH! Comics. The professional writer/publisher/editor will also be reviewing portfolios and submissions in search of the next crop of talent to come out of Open Book Press and talk with them about the rising upstart company.

Christian St. Pierre, Illustrator of the riveting medieval fantasy series “Grafenveer”, will also be on hand to meet fans, talk to fellow artists, and sign books. St. Pierre’s work has been raved over by critics across the globe, and even described as a living tribute to the work of Barry Windsor-Smith on the popular Conan comics of the 60’s and 70’s.

Both Chris Campanozzi and Christian St. Pierre will be appearing at Steve’s Comic Relief in Toms River, New Jersey on Wednesday, May 25th from 1pm to 5 pm and Steve’s other location at The Mercer Mall in Lawrenceville, New Jersey on Wednesday, June 15th from 2pm to 7pm.
