New Networking Group for Graduates of the University of Colorado at Boulder

Los Angeles – Graduates of the University of Colorado at Boulder who are interested in business networking now have a new online group to join. It was started because of a flurry of recent e-mail networking activity among a small group of university alumni.

“It’s interesting how a single e-mail message can lead to something like this,” said Jim Malmberg, the group’s moderator. “One person put out a message introducing their business. Another responded to it. Before long, there were 30 or 40 of us who were communicating on business issues and the only thing we had in common was that we were CU grads. It was very clear that alumni were interested in conducting business with each other, so we quickly setup a Yahoo! Group which can be found at www.CUNetworking.com.”

Malmberg went on to say, “Over the past few weeks we’ve had more than 90 people join. The goal is to have more than 1,000 people participating by the end of August. We’ve already managed to put our first business deal together”

Any graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder can join the group for free. Members can post business questions, jobs, and seek out new business contacts.
