Poetry Slam supports SMS to Wall system

(PRLEAP.COM) Dresden, May 31th 2007 - The locally well known livelyrix poetry slam took place in Dresden last Friday again. Ten poets presented their poems and texts in the sold out event centre Scheune. Additionally, every guest was invited to send its poem as a text message from its own mobile during the show breaks. All texts sent were received by SMS Chatwall (www.chatwall.eu) and were projected onto a screen on the stage. The audience took part actively, as there were one hundred messages broadcasted during both breaks. Mobile poets could write anonymously. Therefore more people dared to present their lyrics to a broader audience.

SMS Chatwall:
Text Messages are written on mobiles which are sent to a mobile phone number displayed on a large screen. SMS messages are received by the SMS Chatwall system which are then projected onto a large screen, known as the Chatwall. SMS Chatwall is an established Event and Advertising instrument widely used in Night Clubs, Music Festivals and Marketing. During a typical night at a venue, up to 1200 SMS messages are generated and displayed on the Chatwall. For more information, please visit www.chatwall.eu .
