Tha Goodfellas (Romeo and Dejai) make good their name by building a reputation in the Los Angeles community as down to earth jocks on the first and highest rated Hip-Hop station, 93.5 KDAY (KDAY/KDAI-FM). On the air-waves for eight years now, Romeo and Dejai have been working together since after high school. They were working together at Blockbuster when they met Power 106’s morning show hot jock, Big Boy, through a mutual friend. Big Boy informed them the station was holding auditions for an opening slot. Both walked away with the job.
Today they are known to most in the nation and to those in the local L.A. area, as the hottest jocks on the West Coast. With their bubbly personalities, great chemistry and hot interviews, the team is also known for interviewing the likes of Jay-Z, Will Smith, Russell Simmons and Jermaine Dupre.
The guys have even established Tha Goodfellas Scholarship Foundation and have already awarded a scholarship to a selected student. The deserving Cal State/Northridge student received the scholarship to be used for such items as books, materials and transportation to class. Romeo and Dajai also hosted "Tha Drop," a nationwide television show on SiTV and are preparing for their own ringtone.
