WINE TELEVISION SIGNS CELEBRITY SOMMELIER & CHEF STEPHEN ASPRINIO-EX-STAR OF BRAVO’S “TOP CHEF”
(PRLEAP.COM) New York, NY (June 6, 2007) – Celebrity Sommelier & Chef Stephen Asprinio has signed on to host Wine Television’s “Wine Chefs.” Asprinio will host Wine Chefs as well as an online subscription based wine course and wine tasting, targeting the next generation of wine consumers. Wine Chefs and the innovative online wine course will take a young and exciting approach to the hip, new world of wine, food and popular culture that exists in the 21st Century.

Stephen Asprinio’s latest achievement is his success on the top-rated competitive reality television series, Season 1 of Top Chef On Bravo! Network. There he branded himself to a national audience as the “chef/sommelier.” Stephen has the credentials and he is also the youngest person ever to pass the United States Sommelier Association’s Certificate Examination, and was one of the youngest to pass the Court of Master Sommelier’s Certificate Course.
Additionally, he’s worked in America’s top restaurants: under Iron Chef Morimoto Masuhara at Nobu in New York City and celebrity Chef Michael Mina at NobHill in the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino where he was Wine Director.
As a Host for Wine Television, Asprinio will feature fine wines and pair them with his extraordinary and avant-garde approach to the culinary arts with the hopes of creating a cultural shift and how people feel about wine & food.
Asprinio will host his show from his new high profile restaurant, Forte di Asprinio located on trendy Clematis Street in West Palm Beach, Florida. Asprinio’s restaurant partner is no other than Pulitzer Prize winning Broadway producer Bob Cuillo and Winemaking entrepreneur wife Gudrun Cuillo. Cuillo’s wines from highly regarded Tuscany Vineyards of Livernanno will be among of the extensive wine list.
