Mexico City, Mexico – World Environment Day was kicked off successfully and the slogan selected for 2007 is “Melting Ice – a Hot Topic?” in support of International Polar Year. Apparently, Mexico City, based Bamba Experience, the only Adventure Travel Company of its size in Mexico, is ensuring their participation.

Bamba Experience is announcing World Environment Day to all of its Mexico adventure traveler and visitors to their web site, by placing links for additional information about World Environment Day. The goal is to enlighten each and every adventure tourist about the effects that climate changes are having on our polar ecosystems and communities in Mexico, and the ensuing consequences around the world.

President of Bamba Experience, Paul Sarfati, stated “This is an important issue and our web site visitors and clients are active and concerned about the changes associated with the ecosystems in Mexico and worldwide”, Mr. Sarfati, continued, “We felt that there is no better way to celebrate World Environment Day, than to consider carefully the actions which each of us must take to build consciousness about our ecosystems”.

In an effort to educate adventure tourists fully about the effects of “Melting Ice” Bamba Experience has created an affordable, three day excursion, to the Iztaccihuatl Volcano and Pico de Orizaba glacier for globe trotters that want to view, first hand, the effects that climate changes are having on polar ecosystems in Mexico.

“We’re in a time and place where we can make a difference in support of the ecosystem fluctuations and we [Bamba Experience] are doing everything possible to build awareness and educate our large data base of clients, partners and web site visitors to get involved with the United Nations Environment Programme”, stated Arturo Martinez, Vice President of Bamba Experience.
