Key Bridge Marriott Renovates Ballroom, Begins New Sunday Brunch Buffet Tradition in Washington DC

(PRLEAP) June 08, 2007 - Starting Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 13th the Key Bridge Marriott invited guests to start a Sunday tradition, by having the Capital View Brunch a top the legendary hotel in the new Capital View Ballroom. The stylish, state-of-the-art 3,000 square foot ballroom on the hotel’s 14th floor previously was the JW Steakhouse. After finishing a $5 million renovation the new ballroom will be the home to a lavish buffet style brunch every Sunday from 10:00am -2:30pm. Guests will enjoy unobstructed, panoramic views of Georgetown, the Potomac River and Washington, DC, while feasting on traditional breakfast fare as well as on an abundant array of menu items featuring regional ingredients including:

Artisan cheese and charcuterie display
House made chutneys and bread

Chef’s selection of Salads
Mediterranean, Asian and ethnic specialties

Carving station

Omelet station

Seafood Station
Peel and eat shrimp, Sushi and sashimi
seared scallops, oyster shooters, smoked salmon with accompaniments

The Capital View Ballroom is the latest addition in a series of multi-million dollar renovations to the hotel—scheduled to be completed in 2008.
