AngelPoints Clients Recognized for Outstanding Workplace Volunteer Programs at National Conference in July

(PRLEAP.COM) SAUSALITO, Calif. [June 2007] —-Three out of the five corporations receiving national recognition for their outstanding workplace volunteer programs are all powered by Bay Area-based company, AngelPoints, Inc.. The Points of Light National Conference on Volunteering and Service will be recognizing five of the most outstanding workplace volunteer programs in the country, including AngelPoints’ clients: AAA of Northern California, Nevada and Utah, The McGraw-Hill Companies, and The Salt River Project (SRP) in Philadelphia on July 18, 2007 (www.volunteeringandservice.org/awards_recognition.cfm).

Like many of AngelPoints’ Bay Area based clients, AAA’s corporate volunteer program has grown exponentially since partnering with AngelPoints. “Since implementing AngelPoints four years ago, we have seen the number of volunteer events we participate in skyrocket by 1000 percent," says Roger Hancock, manager of community services for AAA of Northern California, Nevada and Utah. “Employee participation in volunteerism has grown by a phenomenal 600 percent over the same period."
