PARIS IN JAIL: the music video

(PRLEAP.COM) Produced and directed by Allan Murray and Sean Haines, "Paris In Jail" spoofs the trials and tribulations of heiress Paris Hilton. Though not to be taken as a serious personal attack on her exorbitant lifestyle, the delicious video now being seen on Youtube follows Paris’ last few days of freedom and pointedly shares what the public sees as her "spoiled rich-girl" demeanor of entitlement. Within 2 days of having been posted to Youtube, the video "Paris In Jail" scored an unprecedented 500 thousand hits. As of June 16th, just over a week since being posted, the comedy video’s hits were passing the 5 million mark and showing no sign of slowing.

Founded by Allan Murray and Sean Haines, OMOVIES.COM is a start-up production company specializing in short films, commercials and music videos with a comedy edge. Says co-founder Allan Murray, "Youtube and Myspace have given us unique tools with which to share our imaginations. Coordinating our home website of OMOVIES.COM, with that of Youtube and Myspace, we’ve launched simultaneously over all three sites. Our first video venture: "Paris in Jail", is a music video/song parody with a nod to Ms. Hilton’s hit single, "Stars Are Blind" from Warner Music. The video, co-produced and co-directed by myself and Sean Haines, stars the beautiful & talented Amber Hay as Paris, James Evans as the cop, and Michael Q. Schmidt as the inmate."
