Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, May 2005 – Hundreds of voting members of the Texas Radio Hall of Fame (www.texasradiohalloffame.com) have already begun voting for the individuals who will be honored at the Texas Radio Hall of Fame 2004 Induction Celebration on Saturday evening in Dallas in early November. The deadline for mailing or faxing ballots is July 1, 2005.
Both the ballot and list of nominees is available online at www.texasradiohalloffame.com.
The list of those who have been honored with induction in the three previous years reads like a who's who of Texas broadcasting. Most are well-known throughout the United States and around the world as well. Previous year’s induction celebrations were held in Fort Worth, Houston and San Antonio. This year’s event will be held in Dallas at a location that will be announced within a few days.
Texas Radio Hall of Fame Chairperson, Jo Interrante, said, "The list of 2005 nominees represents the very best of Texas broadcasting. Now it’s up to the voting members to decide who will be honored with induction this year."
The 2005 TRHoF Induction Celebration in Dallas is expected to be an early sold-out event. Those who wish to attend are urged to keep an eye on the Texas Radio Hall of Fame Web site for details at www.trhof.com or www.texasradiohalloffame.com.
A list of the 2005 nominees and the ballot are online at www.trhof.com. Inductees into the Texas Radio Hall of Fame and Hall of Honor are listed on the Web site as well.
