ALEXANDRIA, VA — Online project coordination just got easier and more powerful as Forum One Communications announced the immediate availability of ProjectSpaces™ 3.0, a major release of its password-protected extranet service. ProjectSpaces helps working groups collaborate across organizations, space, and time by providing document sharing, email management, announcement, discussion, calendar and scheduling tools in a secure, private work space. ProjectSpaces users and administrators need only a web browser and an internet connection to take advantage of this powerful service.

The 3.0 release of ProjectSpaces adds an improved, easy-to-use, look and feel; a powerful MyProjects interface allowing users to organize work across multiple projects; and enhanced administration tools. With the launch of version 3.0, Forum One has announced a new pricing structure including a monthly cost of less than $200 per project, greater savings for multiple projects, and support for unlimited users at no extra cost. This pricing makes ProjectSpaces 3.0 great for individual teams as well as for consulting firms and others managing many projects.

"Our clients use ProjectSpaces to connect virtual teams such as committees, work groups, project teams and others and help them collaborate before and after conference calls and face-to-face meetings,” said ProjectSpaces Manager Joe Pringle. “Having one universally available workspace allows them to avoid managing group communications and shared documents by sifting through cluttered e-mail inboxes and Windows file folders."

Client response to ProjectSpaces 3.0 has been very positive. Jimmy Harris from SEEP reported “Version 3 looks great! We're having a meeting here in South Africa, and it has been great to go to the workspace to get documents that we need and that meeting participants request! I like the new interface.”

ProjectSpaces was a finalist for the 2005 Alexandria Technology Achievement Award.
