iBeat.org (http://ibeat.org) are offering free high quality wave files for all musicians working with music creation.

Under a Creative Commons license more than 500 wave files are indexed and ready for download, with more being added on a daily basis.

For the aspiring musician experimenting with digital music creation, finding loops and sound samples have so far been a tricky and frustrating experience.

Peter Jones, founder of iBeat.org explains;

"Over the last couple of years I've been experimenting with the production of music at a semi-professional level, and in this proces build my own sound-library. Since I know people are in the same situation, and I began to get sick and tired of the existing loops and sample pages on the net which, in my view, on often provide poor quality stuffed with hidden fees, sign ups and unwanted pop-up ads, the idea for iBeat sprang to mind - why not simply share our sound libraries?"

iBeat targets the growing commercial and non-commercial music production
community, providing an all original, hassle free music loop archive and production resource in the form of a one stop moderated production library; a general resource for the music community.
