Princeton, NJ — Princeton Windrows’ condominium association has elected Russell Marks as its new treasurer. He succeeds Barney Barnhart in the position. The active adult community’s condo association has been financially sound since the start, Marks says.

“The condo association has built its reserves of over $2.8 million,” Marks says. “It has been well-managed since the beginning.”

Marks, a longtime resident of Princeton Windrows, brings significant managerial and finance experience to his new position. He is a graduate of Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs and served as president of Phelps Dodge International Corporation prior to retirement.

“Sound financial planning and stability is something that becomes even more important in retirement,” Marks says. “One of the condo association’s key strategies has been to anticipate the community’s physical needs so that it can assure that they are always well-funded. Early on, the association contracted for engineering studies so that we’d be able to plan for the ongoing maintenance and replacement of facilities throughout the community.”

Marks says the community is in a strong financial position to continue to provide residents with the upscale environment and lifestyle, and the services and amenities that Princeton Windrows offers.

Princeton Windrows is an active adult community located at 2000 Windrow Drive, about 4.5 miles from the heart of Princeton. The community features a wide selection of villas, town homes, and apartment-style condos with a full range of amenities and services designed for a burden-free retirement lifestyle. Pricing at Princeton Windrows starts at $200,000.
