(PRLEAP.COM) Serena Phillips of The Family Review Center announced today that the new game Balanko has been chosen as a gold award winner at the review center.

“This game is quite different from the norm. There is no board, no cards, no dice and no tally sheet. The game is more of an architectural piece of art – turned WILD GAME!” Serena goes on to share “Playing Balanko keeps players hopping, as the pendulum is in motion, with both players seeking to dismount the ball, rolling to and fro on the rail, by using hand and eye coordination. Players must get the pendulum to swing in their favor and gain them points, by grabbing it when it gets to their side, and then releasing it in sync with the rolling ball.”

Balanko, invented by Jamie MacKinnon of Sudbury, Ontario Canada, was a true hit at The Family Review Center. The award judges took turns challenging one another to a game, and had all agreed by the time they were done that this one was a winner. Award Judge Chris said “We see a lot of games come thru the review center and each one has it’s own appealing features, but Balanko is just a downright blast to play, and without a lot of convoluted rules to contend with!”

The review team member who reviewed the game, also agreed with the award judges, that Balanko was awesome. Saying “Since first putting this game together out of the box, when it came for review, we have not taken it apart once. It stays together so it is ready for action the next time someone feels brave enough to challenge me. This game is a blast!”
