Steppes Travel publishes new sample Antarctic cruise itineraries.

(PRLEAP.COM) Steppes Travel (http://www.steppestravel.co.uk) has published new sample itineraries for people looking to take an Antarctic cruise holiday. (http://www.steppestravel.co.uk/antarctica-page23.aspx).

While Steppes Travel specialises in creating tailor-made holidays for its clients, it publishes a number of sample itineraries on its website for each of the destination countries it covers.

Steppes Travel has published three new sample itineraries for Antarctica, of varying lengths from 6 days to 24 days.

The first itinerary is a revolutionary new concept in Antarctic travel, with a 6 day Fly and Cruise trip. Foregoing the 2-day crossing of The Drake Passage, passengers join up with their expeditionary ship in The Southern Shetlands after just a short 3 1/2 hour flight from Punta Arenas in Southern Chile and from there begin exploration of Antarctica.

The more traditional way of visiting Antarctica is the Classic Antarctica itinerary, travelling by boat from Ushuaia across the Drake Passage. This is a 15 day itinerary.

For those looking to spend a longer period in the southern ocean, there is the 24 day itinerary, which includes visits to The Falklands, South Georgia aswell as Antarctica itself, before returning via Buenos Aires.
