Off Broadway Kids to Perform at Walt Disney World® Resort

(PRLEAP.COM) Lake Buena Vista, FL - Off Broadway Kids theater troupe is performing at the National Performing Arts Festival at Walt Disney World on February 16-18. The festival features some of the nation’s top high school and middle school acting troupes performing selections for a panel of professional adjudicators. A special awards ceremony will follow the performances and the highest scoring troupe will perform live on the Future World West stage at Epcot®.

During the festival each theater troupe will attend a private, interactive feedback clinic and the student actors will participate in educational seminars on topics such as audition techniques, stage movement, and vocal training.

Off Broadway Kids are under the direction of Christian Mayer. At the 2005 festival in Florida they were the Showcase winners for their production “Best of Broadway Revue”, and during the 2006 festival in New York they received the prestigious Judges Award for “Aladdin.” During this festival they will be presenting “Godspell Jr.”.
