Lehigh Acres Watchdog, Inc. Holds Town Hall Meeting:
The Lehigh Acres Watchdog, Inc. a non profit organization, whose goal is to work with community leaders to build consensus on the ideas one community, will be hosting a meeting on May 26th 2005 at the Lehigh Acres Middle School at 5:30 PM in the cafeteria. Guest Speaker Charles Sweat, the Director of Operations for F.G.U.A., (Florida Gulf Utilities Authority). He will be answering citizen’s questions and addressing their concerns on the effects of rapidly increasing population and the repercussions of that growth on Lehigh Acres water supply (?). The following topics are on the Agenda:

If Lehigh Acres residents are mandated by the Health Department, Lee County, or FDEP and forced to hook up to water and sewer, what can residents expect and at what cost.

What are FGUA’s plans as far as infrastructure for Lehigh Acres?

Formation of a new FGUA Lehigh Acres Advisory Board.
