LeBlanc & Waddell’s Burton LeBlanc Honored With Prestigious Justice Association Award

(PRLEAP.COM) BATON ROUGE, La. – Attorney J. Burton LeBlanc, IV, name partner in Baton Rouge-based LeBlanc & Waddell, LLP, has been awarded the prestigious Wiedemann Wysocki National Finance Council Award by the American Association for Justice.

Mr. LeBlanc is one of only 14 attorneys in the United States selected to receive the award, which honors attorneys for their commitment to their profession and support for improving the civil justice system.

“I would like to thank the American Association for Justice for this important honor,’’ Mr. LeBlanc says. “This award is named for two great Louisiana attorneys, and I hope to continue their goal of helping deserving plaintiffs find justice in the civil court system.”

The Wiedemann Wysocki award was established in honor of Fritz Wiedemann and James Anthony Wysocki, two New Orleans-based attorneys and active American Association for Justice members who died in a plane crash while traveling to an American Association for Justice event.

Mr. LeBlanc is cofounder and name partner for LeBlanc & Waddell. Mr. LeBlanc will receive the award July 16 at the association’s annual conference in Chicago.
