FarStone to Release DriveClone Server

June 24, 2007 (PRLEAP.COM) Technology News
IRVINE, CA — FarStone Technology has released DriveClone Server for final testing. The disk imaging software for servers designed for small business use, and offers an affordable, reliable alternative to other server backup products costing many times more.

DriveClone Server will be available for sale by the end of July, 2007.

A second FarStone drive imaging product, DriveClone classic, is slated for release in early July, and will be priced at under $20.

ABOUT DRIVECLONE SERVER

DriveClone Server is based on FarStone's DriveClone Pro (www.farstone.com/software/driveclone-pro.htm), disk imaging software with ongoing system snapshots. System snapshots enable instant recovery from software-related data mishaps, while DriveClone Server's core disk imaging technology ensures data recovery from any computer disaster, including hard drive failure.

DriveClone Server will run on current Windows 64 and 32 bit server operating systems.

ABOUT DRIVECLONE CLASSIC

DriveClone Classic creates a boot disk image that can be copied across multiple systems. Its most unusual feature is that it does not have to be installed: simply clicking on the executable file initiates the boot disk process. This makes DriveClone Classic completely safe — with no software installation, there's no risk of hardware or driver conflicts.

DriveClone Classic will retail for $19.99, and will be bundled free of charge with online purchases of FarStone DriveClone (www.farstone.com/software/driveclone.htm) and DriveClone Pro (www.farstone.com/software/driveclone-pro.htm).
