ZVUE AND PSP ARE HANDHELD PLAYERS OF CHOICE FOR STAR WARS REVELATIONS FANS
(PRLEAP.COM) SAN FRANCISCO - May 2005 - HandHeld Entertainment announced today that its personal media player, the ZVUE, and the Sony PSP have been selected as the devices of choice for playing Star Wars Revelations, the Star Wars-themed ‘fan film’ that has been downloaded over a million times.
In support of the film, HandHeld Entertainment is providing free downloads of Star Wars Revelations on their Web site http://www.zvue.com/downloads/. Revelations is a 40-minute, non-profit film based on George Lucas’ Star Wars saga and was shot on location in the Northern Virginia, Maryland and D.C. metro areas. The film was directed by Shane Felux and produced by Dawn Cowings.

The Making of Revelations
Star Wars Revelations took nearly 200 people to produce, including the cast, crew, extras and behind-the-scenes volunteer talent. Since the film was the work of volunteers with full-time jobs and normal lives, its 17 shooting days were spread out over a three-year period. The script went through 12 revisions before reaching its final draft.
About the Story
"Revelations" takes place between Episodes three and four of the Star Wars saga. Emperor Palpatine’s power continues to spread throughout the Galaxy and his sidekick Darth Vader is a feared figure. The Jedi are hunted as fugitives, and anyone suspected of having information about them or harboring them is taken into Imperial custody.
The heroine, Taryn Anwar, has broken from Imperial control and is searching for a powerful ancient Jedi artifact with legendary power that could be the key to destroying Palpatine’s empire. Anwar must locate this artifact before the Emperor’s hand Zhanna does as the fate of the galaxy hands in the balance.
