Holistic Arts and Health Alliance (HAHA) is sponsoring a small business seminar

(PRLEAP.COM) The Holistic Arts and Health Alliance (HAHA) is sponsoring a small business seminar on July 28th, 2007 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:15p.m. at the Schaumburg Library, 130 S. Roselle Rd, Schaumburg, IL 60193. Phone is 847-923-3340. There will be three presentations and a chance to network with other small business owners.

10:00 - 10:45 Registration and networking

10:45 - 12:00 Using Technology in Your Business: Discuss your ideas about the role of technology in your business and how you would like to see it change. Learn the common mistakes small business people make when they select and buy their critical technologies. Find out how technology purchases should address your business problems. Mark Thorne, Solutions Architect and 26 year veteran of the Information Technology industry, leads this roundtable discussion.

12:00 – 12:30 Lunch

12:30 - 1:45 Effective Internet Marketing on a Shoestring Budget: Learn how to hire a web designer and the questions to ask as well as effective email campaigns and search engine and web site optimization. Join this roundtable discussion lead by Lisa Wilcox, Web Developer/Owner of Web Girl Web Designs, who has over 7 years experience and has published articles on email scams and internet marketing.

1:45 - 3:00 Navigating around the Obstacles on Your Personal Road of Creating a Successful Business: Art Therapist Radmila Abram, MA, ATR-BC, LCPC, will lead and support you through a process of discovering your unique road through art and creative writing.

3:00 - 3:15 Open networking
The seminar is free to the public, but space is limited. Be sure to reserve your spot no later than July 18th by contacting connections@haha-il.org or 847-217-1278. A boxed lunch is available for $8.00. Choices are turkey, ham, tuna salad, vegetarian sandwiches chicken or seafood salad with bottled water, cookie and a bag of chips. Participants can choose to bring in a brown bag lunch of their own if they do not want to order the box lunch. To order box lunch for seminar, please email connections@haha-il.org and you will be sent a PayPal invoice to pay for the lunch online. Please note: If you do not prepay for your box lunch you will not receive it.
