MONROEVILLE, NJ – Lake Garrison, the family-oriented lakeside fun spot in Elk Township, NJ, today announced the launch of its new Web site at http://www.lakegarrison.com.

Lake Garrison is a recreation destination for thousands of families every summer, and now the community can easily see just how close and convenient we really are. The new web site will allow Lake Garrison to provide our community with news and information about the fun they could have at Lake Garrison.

The new site provides visitors with available activities and admission pricing, as well as directions and contact information to reach the lake via e-mail or phone. Lake Garrison offers boating, swimming and picnicking facilities for families and groups of all sizes.

Lake Garrison has a long and colorful history in Elk Township. The lake was originally a cranberry bog, and was re-opened as a lakeside recreation facility in 1935 by John Garrison, a local grocery store owner. Some of the original lakeside buildings are still standing.

Group leaders and organization event planners are also invited to visit Lake Garrison’s new Web site for more information. Businesses and organizations of all sizes are always looking for safe and affordable locations for their spring and summer outings. Lake Garrison has supported groups of thousands of people from churches, schools and other non-profit organizations, as well groups from offices, factories, and stores around South Jersey. Lake Garrison would be a great destination for these groups as they begin their 2005 event planning.
