Change in Directorate of Kennametal India Limited

(PRLEAP.COM) Kennametal India Limited, a leadingis a global supplier of tooling, engineered components and advanced materials consumed in production processes today announced the change in its directorate by appointing Mr. Dinakar Adhyam was appointed as the Managing Director of Kennametal India Limited.

At a meeting of the Board of Directors of Kennametal India Limited, held on June 27, 2007, Mr. Dinakar Adhyam was appointed as the Managing Director of Kennametal India Limited. He takes over this role from Mr. Kumar Kanetkar, with effect from July 01, 2007.

Mr. Dinakar holds a B.E. degree from the University of Mysore. He has been with Kennametal India Limited (KI) since February 2007 as head of KIs largest Business Unit, i.e. Metal Working.

Prior to joining KI, Mr. Dinakar was Managing Director of Disa India Limited, the Danish company, well known for their high-end foundary machinery. Prior to his stint with Disa India, he was with Saint Gobain/Grindwell Norton Ltd. Mr. Dinakar brings forth a background of a highly successful career with rich managerial experience and a deep knowledge of the industries that Kennametal serves.

Dinakar resides in Bangalore with his wife and two children.
