IE Discovery Announces Update to InfoDox Discovery Management Platform

July 05, 2007 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
Austin, Texas (July 5, 2007)—IE Discovery, a leading provider of comprehensive Discovery Management solutions to the legal community, announced that it has released an upgraded version of its InfoDox™ discovery management tool. This is the second new release in a year and provides significant additional improvements in functionality, including the following:

• Customization Capabilities. Users can now perform searches on fields and view browse trees, results and details to best suit the litigation. This eliminates the need to create custom applications for projects that involve data specific to a litigation–such as plaintiffs in class action suits, medical claims and patents–and allows IE Discovery to deploy repositories much quicker.
• Better Text Viewing and Highlighting. The text searching and highlighting feature on the Text tab of Infodox and on the Text Window of ReviewDox has been improved to enable users to more quickly determine relevant terms by simply locating highlighted items, now from a wider array of search terms. An enhanced Text Highlight screen allows users to run multiple term list searches simultaneously. Also, users can run a term list, a quick-term search and a text search simultaneously. These enhancements result in less time and energy spent on document review.
• Improved Search. Enhanced date recognition, e-mail address recognition and “Begins With” comparisons enable easier and more accurate searching.
• Additional enhancements. Additional enhancements include new permissions limiting who can run reports, PDF blowback support, Microsoft Office 2007 support for the Universal File Viewer, better messaging capabilities and other performance improvements.

IE Discovery’s objective is to consistently improve InfoDox based on input from its user base. “We survey our clients quarterly and address their needs in order to provide them with the most comprehensive and implementation-friendly Discovery Management platform,” said Chris May, CEO of IE Discovery.

In 2006, IE Discovery was named a Top 10 provider in each phase of the Socha-Gelbmann E-Discovery Survey, including the “Review” phase. “The review phase is usually the most expensive part of discovery,” said Bill Detamore, Director of Business Development at IE Discovery. “So many of our ongoing improvements are designed to speed review because those enhancements deliver exponential financial benefits to our clients.”
