The Center for Progressive Dentistry in Duxbury Announces New Office Manager

DATELINE: DUXBURY, MASS… Joseph Santelli, DDS, PC of the Center for Progressive Dentistry in Duxbury will be joined by his wife, Bertha Santelli, as she takes over management of the state-of-the-art dental office. The Center for Progressive Dentistry is an innovative dental spa that concentrates on cosmetic, restorative and general dentistry.

As the new Office Manager, Santelli will coordinate billing, patient appointments, office finances and in general, put all patients at ease. Santelli and staff provide patients with the smile of their dreams, while emphasizing patient comfort in a “spa-like” atmosphere. The Center for Progressive Dentistry specializes in mini-implants in addition to a full range of cosmetic dentistry services including veneers, whitening and more.

A former Rhode Island school teacher, Santelli has been assisting Dr. Santelli in general office duties for more than 10 years. She has attended many dental seminars over the years and most recently received a Certificate of Achievement for Dental Excellence from the MADOW Group, the leaders in dental education.

Santelli is currently attending training for Dentrix software, which is a new dental office technology that will enable the Center for Progressive Dentistry to switch to a paperless system and facilitate patient history intake online.

In addition to her full time job as Office Manager, Santelli is a volunteer at the Duxbury Senior Center and also in the Meals on Wheels program. The Santellis have two grown children, Jason, who is a marketing analyst and resides in Bedford and Dayna, who has three children and resides in Palmetto, FL. The Santellis reside in Duxbury.

Joseph Santelli, DDS, PC, is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) and the International Association of Mini Dental Implants. He has been providing cosmetic and general dentistry to patients throughout the South Shore for more than 30 years.

Wand anesthetic is used, so patients do not feel a sting when it is administered. The dental chair has a massage feature and patients may choose to have a gentle massage during their treatment. At the conclusion of each appointment, patients are able to relax in a massage chair in the Recovery Spa, which is complete with dim lighting, soft music, candles and a waterfall feature.
