Animation Instructor and Son Present Gallery Show at Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale

July 8, 2007 — Ft. Lauderdale, FL — Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale veteran and revered animation instructor Mike Carnegie and his son Paul are exhibiting their paintings, drawings and models in the Mark K. Wheeler Gallery thruogh August 31.

From a culmination of years in art with humorous alphabets, fantasy illustrations and satirical caricatures and cartoons — to the youthful illustrations and animation multimedia talents of his offspring, Mike Carnegie and Paul Carnegie (respectively) reflect talent and creativity for all generations all under one roof at The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale.

Attend the CARNEGIE: FATHER & SON exhibition at the Mark K. Wheeler Gallery, located on the first floor of The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, 1799 SE 17th Street, Fort Lauderdale, Map, through August 31.

Artist Reception (and birthday bash for both) is on Friday, July 20, 5-8pm.

Mike Carnegie has been teaching at The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale since 1981, imparting his love of movies, books and history to his students in the Animation and Graphic Design programs. Paul Carnegie is a current student studying Media Arts & Animation.
