Delegates from Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University, Thailand visit Amity

A Delegation from Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University, Thailand consisting of 51 members from the Faculties of Management, Science, Humanity, Education visited Amity University, Noida.The visit was aimed to discuss about development and management of curricula, teaching system, quality assurance, possibility of academic and research collaboration and student activities.

Dr. Teerawat Nakabut, Associate Professor Science and Technology addressed Amity Directors and faculty and said, “The objectives of the visit are to give the general public inside and outside of Thailand a chance at an education. We continually modernize and standardize many curriculums to meet local needs. The curriculums support students in Thailand by offering them the opportunity to select the fields of study where they have an aptitude. Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University has the commitments to offer the people opportunities for further education, to confer degrees to qualified graduates and to maintain high academic status, to bring about improvement in the management and organization systems and to increase the capacities and strength of the local community”.

Dr. Piya Kovintavewat, Associate Professor Science and Technology while interacting with the faculty of Amity remarked, “Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University is a higher education institute providing development of localities and Thai society, as well as being a resource of knowledge for the general public. It aims to provide a balanced education for the development of decent and valuable individuals who will then manage intelligence and technology with skill and who will also contribute to the assimilation of knowledge so as to benefit both local people and the general public. It is an organization of learning that produces quality graduates and has high academic standards. We are ready to support teachers and students in conducting research and bringing the knowledge from the research to develop the surrounding area”.
Mr. Aseem Chauhan, Additional President, Amity University commented, “This mission is arranged to explore the potential for partnerships and policy exchange between Thailand and India. India has lot of potential in terms of education and this will help in utilizing each other’s resources to its fullest. There is diverse range of jobs available in India wherein the most popular sectors are engineering, technology, business and administrative studies, finance and IT. There are a number of very successful partnerships already in place between the two countries and there is a possibility to explore the potential for strengthening our links further”.
