Nashville, Tenn. – Kraft Search Associates listed 23rd by Modern Healthcare magazine in its national ranking of healthcare executive search firms.

This week’s edition of the healthcare industry trade publication, which was published yesterday, ranked healthcare executive search firms based on the number of U.S. placements for senior level healthcare executives. This ranking included senior vice president level executives and above who were placed in healthcare positions by executive search firms during 2006.

Kraft Search Associates was the only Tennessee firm included in the ranking and was one of only four Southeastern-based companies in the top 25. The privately held company was among the most productive search companies in the listing, and beat out several industry leaders with an average of $550,000 in revenue generated per recruiter.

“We are honored that our work has been recognized by the industry and we are especially proud to be the only firm in Nashville – the healthcare industry capital – to be included in the annual ranking,” said Paul Frankenberg, co-founder and president of Kraft Search Associates.

The annual survey ranks healthcare search firms based on the number of senior level searches completed during the year. In the survey firms are asked to submit net fee billings, total number of completed searches and number of staff employed. Both publicly-traded and privately-held companies are included in the ranking.

Kraft Search Associates, located in Nashville, was founded five years ago and works with venture and equity-backed firms to Fortune 100 companies to conduct national search assignments in the following segments: individual hospitals and integrated delivery networks, specialized healthcare providers, healthcare technology and medical device. The firm boasts an impressive 91 percent placement retention rate during the hired candidate’s first 12 months of employment.
