(PRLEAP.COM) Indianapolis, Indiana – 19th July, 2007 – The first major Midwest Music Convention will take place in Indianapolis, Indiana at the Marriott Hotel located on East 21st Street, on August 16-18, 2007. Attendance is expected to be 5,000+ !

The mission of the convention is to become one of the largest music events in the nation. “There is a continuing demand for more outlets and a service which is cost effective and efficient for performing artists, musicians, music lovers and models,” says Mr. Alan Powell, CEO of T Town Music/Universal Republic.

The Midwest Music Convention will host AR Reps, DJs, Producers, Radio Personalities as well as a list of well known panelists during various seminars and workshop at the convention. Panelists will include Ron Spaulding –VP of Asylum Records, Kaspa – CEO of Hittman DJs, Jeremy Miller – CEO Source Magazine, Tony Neal – CEO of Core DJs, Wendy Day – Rap Coalition, and Janie Jennings from Industry Works, and the list goes on.

“There will be opportunities for music lovers, performing artists, musicians, and models to not only network and establish new business connections, but they will have an opportunity to become educated about the industry by attending seminars and workshops”, according to Mr. Michael Chappell, Upfront Promotions And, proceeds from this event will benefit Family, Inc., which is a youth mentoring program for female student athletes and is under the direction of Kevin Merriweather.
