Mouser Electronics’ Headquarters Expansion Garners Summit Award

Mouser Electronics, Inc., the fastest growing catalog distributor in the electronics industry, today announced their headquarters facility expansion was recognized as an outstanding construction project and garnered the QUOIN Summit Award.

The Summit Award was presented to the Bob Moore Construction company by QUOIN, the North and East Texas Chapter of the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC). The award recognizes the Mouser expansion as the top construction project in various building categories. A total of 84 project submissions in north and east Texas were judged on a variety of criteria.

As a result of tremendous growth, Mouser Electronics needed an expansion to both warehouse and office space completed quickly to continue servicing its growing global customer base. The total expansion project increased the headquarters building from 173,000 to 432,000 sq. ft. overall and included a significant warehouse expansion to 280,000 sq. ft. An additional 78,500 sq. ft. of office space and meeting areas, an expanded customer service call center, and 3,400 sq. ft. state-of-the-art internet data center were also added, along with a new 3,000 sq. ft. two-story rotunda lobby.
