New York, New York - July 24, 2007 - UrGossip.com - UrGossip allows users to submit, vote, and comment on celebrity news that interests the public. "UrGossip.com gives power to the public to express their views and opinions on what stories they want to read about" says UrGossip.com founder, Andrew Galasetti. Mr. Galasetti adds, "Not everyone cares if a certain star went clubbing. UrGossip puts the public in control, with their power we can change the celebrity news industry."

UrGossip is a similar format to the popular social news site Digg. "Digg.com was the first and is the most used social news site on the internet. Though Digg has an entertainment and celebrity news section, it's initial focus was on technology and still is. We believe there is a large opportunity and demand for a site dedicated solely to celebrity news" says Mr. Galasetti. Users register for UrGossip and can easily submit a story from a blog or other news source. Once a story is submitted to UrGossip others can vote on it and if it achieves enough votes the story is promoted to the home page in the "Worthy News" section.

Registering for UrGossip.com is very simple and free. Just log on http://urgossip.com/register.php and fill out the required information. Once completed you can submit news and comment on other stories. If you have any questions please email UrGossip at hey@urgossip.com or visit http://www.urgossip.com
