Macroaxis Integrates Flash and AJAX Components to Replace Java Applets

July 26, 2007 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
San Francisco, CA. June 26, 2007 - Macroaxis Corporation announced Friday that it will replace its applet-based Pitchlet® toolset with Flash components in order to appeal to a larger audience, making their suite of wealth management analytics more “browser friendly.” The changes will be implemented in the upcoming release of its enhanced Wealth Management Pitchlet Toolset scheduled for the end of June.

Although Java applets have been in use for more than 10 years, and are generally scalable to any processor-driven platform such as cell phones and appliances, they are typically much larger than Flash components, requiring larger downloads and longer load times. What’s more, most PC manufactures today no longer include a Java runtime environment (JRE) plug-in, resulting in a significant decrease of Java-enabled browsers.
