Harlem’s own Singing and Dancing Diva…And Creator of the “Chicken Noodle Soup” Song Young B Dupree Is set to Launch her Newest Single “Uptown Harlem”

Englewood Cliffs, NJ- July 26, 2007 –Harlem native, Bianca Dupree -was born to Ronald and Ellen Dupree on July 1st (year), the third of five children. Despite her large family, Bianca had no trouble distinguishing herself amongst her many siblings: her raw talent and performers charm helped her shine like a star.

Dupree, AKA Young B, became an instant success with her #1 hit single, “Chicken Noodle Soup Wit a Soda on the Side.” With catchy lyrics and a one-of-a-kind dance, the played throughout the country, and sold more than 800,000 singles online—which is a Gold Plus!

Today, Young B is set to release her newest street album, Uptown Harlem, also the name of her latest single.

Bianca has always been a natural born performer, her mother recalls. “Bianca used to make up songs and perform them in front of the family, she would always say, Mom I am a star see!” At an early age, this beautiful and talented, young diva began writing lyrics, while creating new trends with her funky moves and talented vocals.

Raised in the historic and talented district of Harlem, NY, it was the perfect place to become a star. Young B created a buzz for herself after befriending a couple of the local DJ’s, who began playing her music at local parties in the community, including Rucker Park and the Kingdome. From these local venues the hit single “Chicken Noodle Soup” became a phenomenon, and took Young B on a worldwide tour. The song was picked up by radio stations around the country. DJ Enuff debuted the track to radio audiences on July 1, 2006 and by July 4, the record was in heavy rotation. The Chicken Noodle Soup dance had other artists like Chris Brown making it part of their performance. Talk show host Oprah Winfrey performed the dance on her show and sent a shout out to Young B. Everyone from around the way was doing the Chicken Noodle Soup dance!

Young B signed with Scrilla Hill Records/ Universal Republic in 2006 and began performing the single along with DJ Webstar nationally and internationally. Webstar later released his compilation album entitled, Caught In The Web, which featured Young B. But it was her “Chicken Noodle Soup” song that allowed her to perform on the Regis and Kelly show, Showtime at the Apollo, 106 & Park, Suck A Free MTV, Miss Jones Morning Show on Hot 97.9 in New York, the Wendy Williams Show, and Rap City. She was also asked by Congressman Ed Towns to perform at the Children’s Health Awareness Day Festival. The young diva took her show on the road with the one and only BOW WOW for his Price of Fame tour. She went on to perform at several large venues including a concert in the Bahamas on Turks and Caicos hosted by Lisa Raye, at Madison Square Garden and the Soul Train Music Awards where she won an award for Best Dance Cut. Recently, Young B took the stage as the special guest host of the JoJo Show at Bergen Performing Arts Center in Hackensack, NJ.

Under the management of Hunc-CEO of Hunc Records, Young B is excited for the upcoming release of her debut solo album, set to hit the airwaves August 2nd.
