New purpose for any spare PC

Software Multi Monitor solution

PC users have a natural demand for maximum screen real estate. More desktop space increases users' productivity as they do not need to switch back and forth between overlapping program windows. Multiple program windows can be shown simultaneously on both PC's screens, while the programs are still all controlled from the primary PC.

MaxiVista performs a clever trick, as computers generally lack video inputs which would be required to allow a PC to be used as a display. Instead using a video cable, MaxiVista utilizes any standard Wireless LAN or Ethernet network connection to transmit the screen contents to the laptop.

No more messing with multiple input devices

The new version v2 additionally lets you control up to four computers with a single keyboard and mouse. When the user moves the mouse over to a given monitor, the user is then controlling that PC. MaxiVista also shares the clipboard between all PCs.

No additional hardware required

MaxiVista is software-only, and saves users from buying expensive dual monitor graphics cards and keyboard/mouse switches. Even dated Windows 98 PCs can be given a new and practical new purpose to maximize the desktop space.

The patented virtual video driver has been improved in version 2 and now allows video playback even across a 11MBit WLAN without creating much CPU or network load.

MaxiVista is available at www.maxivista.com in different forms. The price has been reduced by more than 40% to US$ 29.95. You can download a free trial version from the same web address.
