Strategic Marketing Campaign by Politis Communications and modern8 Nearly Quadruples Qualified Sales Leads for Quansys Biosciences

July 30, 2007 (PRLEAP.COM) Media News
Politis Communications and modern8 today announced that their recent collaboration on a branding and collateral project for Quansys Biosciences increased the qualified sales leads Quansys received at the 2007 American Association of Immunologists (AAI) tradeshow nearly four-fold over last year’s results.

This marks the first time the two Salt Lake County-based agencies have worked together in a joint capacity.

Quansys Biosciences, a Logan, Utah-based company that develops multiplexed protein arrays to help medical researchers better understand, diagnose and treat disease, recently recognized the need for a revamped corporate identity and collateral materials, in addition to a streamlined corporate message that would help it more effectively reach potential customers.

Quansys’ vice president of development Christian Iverson contacted Politis Communications after seeing Politis’ successful publicity work for the episode of ABC’s “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” (shot in Logan in October 2006 and aired initially in November 2006).

“Politis Communications impressed me with its ability to get the right message to the right audience at the right time, and that was exactly what Quansys needed,” Iverson said. “After returning from AAI, it was apparent that we made a good choice. Not only was it easier for us to attract the right people to our booth, but we also received nearly four times as many solid sales leads as we did last year.”

In addition to messaging, the Quansys project called for strategic graphic design work on the tradeshow booth, an accompanying direct mail piece, a corporate brochure, an e-newsletter template and more. Politis enlisted the award-winning brand design agency modern8 to help with creative.

“I’ve been aware of modern8’s work and that of Randall Smith, its president, for many years and am continually impressed with the high quality of the firm’s work,” said David Politis, president of Politis Communications.

“We asked the right questions, created a solution that positioned the company credibly and delivered a visual message centered on its core technology,” Smith said.
