Announcing Cullen’s abc’s Tours Boston Linking History to Vocabulary

In this series of videos, Cullen’s abc’s tours Boston, Massachusetts, offering children both a view of history and new words associated with each celebrated person or site.

New words use with repetition and in different ways increase preschoolers vocabulary. Using history is just one creative way to introduce words and build preschoolers vocabulary. Later in their development, they may also associate those words with the historical event when re-introduced to history.
