“Nothing Still” Makes Their Chicago Debut

August 01, 2007 (PRLEAP.COM) Entertainment News
Chicago, IL – August 1, 2007 – Saint Louis natives, Nothing Still will be performing with Comasoft, Echo Nice and Fun Club as part of a special electro night at The Abbey Pub, 3420 W Grace. Chicago IL on Saturday, August 11, 2007 starting at 9pm. http://www.abbeypub.com

Nothing Still is Emilio Hernandez (vocals), Tom Fedke (bass), Patrick Slusser (drums), Anthony Ficken (lead guitar) and Matt Kleemann (guitar). Nothing Still’s unprecedented sound is indescribable to anyone whose ears have not yet been graced by their unmatched eclectic blend of genres. Their unparallel combination of synth, rock and pop with a dash of a dark side (think The Cure), makes this band a breath of fresh air from other generic synth-rock acts. With 700+ attendance at headlining shows, biweekly video Podcasts on iTunes, a full autobiographical documentary, radio play, inconceivable hours in the studio, and unrelenting self-promotion, it's no wonder why Nothing Still is quickly becoming a household name in the Midwest, with Chicago’s Abbey Pub being their next stop.

Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door and can be purchased by phone at 866-468-3401, online at http://www.ticketweb.com or at the box office. Doors are at 8pm and the show starts at 9pm. This is an 18 and over event.
